Waiting to be Pinned !!!

I was down with fever today & stayed at home. My desire of wanting to photograph single objects ( Inspired after seeing
Nish ) was realised today.

Seeing this Stapler reminds me of an old incident which happened when I was stydying 2nd semester of Engineering in UVCE. We had this subject called Mechanical Engineering Science which was handled by a lecturer whose name I dont remember. As is the case always, most of us ended up with shortage in attendance. Mr Lecturer wanted to capitalise on this and ordered each one to get some stationary items like stamps, inland letters, postcards, crocin - yes crocin tablets, refills etc or else pay up with the fine while collecting the hall ticket. This supposedly was for his stationary shop aka chilre angadi which he had setup in his home town in Hoskote. I too who was in the shortage list gave him a stapler ( including a box of pins ) even though he had not asked for it .

Old memories revisited :)

Maga,

That is such an insanely, awesomely funny story...he he he he...my God...namma deshadalli en eno aagathe...I mean, even God must be shocked to see the insanity that is India (and I mean it in a facetious way).

I had heard long time back that such things happened in UV (eke andare government collegeu..idu ella aagathe antha kelidde..just never gave it much thought till I read your post).

Entha chilre jana ge kelsa kodthare namma government colleges nalli...aiyyo devare...

Anyways, maga ninna stapler photo nodade. Maga, there is a whole branch of photography called Industrial photography kano. Have you explored more about it? I have seen your nature and landscape photos. No doubt they are good but you seem to have an eye for industrial photography too. Have you considered being a part-time apprentice under such a person? Just open the yellow pages and call up people kano.

Great stuff dude...you are really talented. Namma annavara interview nalli vodidde recently...Bhaya idre Bhakti nu irathe anthe...basically he was saying that even after so many decades there is still some fear for him to face the camera...that's where he derives his bhakti from...what a great statement kano. Ninu swalpa bhakti itkondu phone call maadu. You must develop your talent more kano.

Best,

Raki
