Cubbon Shots
Went in search of an authorised dealer for a DSLR, Nikon D70 in specific and ended up shooting some snaps in Cubbon Park. Anyone who knows where DSLRs are sold in Bangalore (Authorized dealers) Please share the information.
Karnataka High Court
Directly opposite to the Vidhana Souda is the State High court. This magnificent building was constructed in 1867 in the Gothic Style of architecture. [ A style of architecture developed in northern France that spread throughout Europe between the 12th and 16th centuries; characterized by slender vertical piers and counterbalancing buttresses and by vaulting and pointed arches ] The Attara Kacheri literally meaning The eighteen offices or departments, originally comprised of the general and revenue secretariat of the State government. It now houses the High Court of Karnataka State.

Located near the Vidhana Soudha this sprawling green park of over 250 acres is a joggers and walkers delight. This wooded and be flowered park was laid out by Lord Sir Mark Cubbon, the then viceroy of India in the heart of the cantonment in 1864
