Sankey in September
September start - Mid term exams, US open, Ganesha Habba. The season seems to tell that the curtains are almost coming down for the current year.
This one was shot on Ganesha Festival in Sankey Tank.
The immersion of the idol in Sankey Tank has now become a well organised affair invloving the BCC, Bangalore City Police and others. As a sepearate portion is reserved for this purpose the contamination of the water is avoided.
These were again shot in Sankey at 7-30 PM. The exposure was pretty long. The object in the bottom is a wooden log which is a barricade put up to control the crowds during the idol immersion.
