Bannerghatta Nature Walk
I got up at 5 in the morning and left for Bannerghatta National Park. I was joined by two friends. We were to take part in a Nature Walk organised by the WWF ( World Wildlife Fund ). The walk began at 8:15 n went on till around 11:30. The highpoint of the walk was the view of a Tusker standing majestically on the mountains.
Brunch Time
A Nilghai feasting on the green shrubs..This one was very lovable n it allowed itself to be touched n pampered by many of us.
Climb to the Top
A Peninsular Agama ( If I remember right ) on its way to conquer the summit of the ant hill.
Balancing Act
A Monkey swinging on the Ant Hill.
Bewildered !!!
A Bison n its Calf (if I can call it so) look with astonishment at us. I missed the Calf during the walk. Got to know about it only when I saw this photo.
Masculine Body
This Bison here with its perfect musular body was an obstruction to our walk for abt 10 mins. A forest guard tried to make it move way by talking to it in Kannada , wud u beleive it, but in vain. Finally the entire bunch of walkers unitedly moved ahead. The bison which was silent all this while, started calling out once we were past it.
Perching Atop
Couldnt get the intricate details of the bird with my camera. So thought of capturing just the dry branch n the shadowed outline of the bird, oops dunno the name, against the blue sky as the backdrop.
Mushrooms!!
A line of mushrooms, basking in the sunlight.
Shying Away
This was at the end of the walk. Though the picture is not so sharp in focus, I like it for the look on the deer's face n the wonderful pair of horns.
