Sunfeast Marathon 2010
It was the perfect third Sunday in May [May 23 2010], when I accidentally met, interacted and captured the political power, glamor and the atmosphere of Sunfeast Marathon in the Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore.

Raw Beauty
I came across this natural beauty during a meet with a friend in Rajmahal Vilas (RMV) extension area. She was a part of a nomadic construction worker family, with roots in Belgaum speaking fluent Hindi and Kannada.
Her striking photogenic face caught my attention immediately and had I been a film maker or a model agent I would have shortlisted her immediately. Anyone seeing this picture? Shot in May 2010.

Bangalore Nostalgia !!
I captured this moment on January 14 2007 in Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore. It seems yesterday even though it has been more than 2 years. Seen here are two unknown people relaxing by engaging in fishing in the Ulsoor Lake. Click here for an older post on the same shoot.
Bangalore has been my home for 24 and a 1/2 years out of my little over 26 years of my life as of today. I have seen it change from a very calm, laid back city to an utterly chaotic, overpopulated, 'ultra developed' concrete jungle.
Yet the city and its people have the charm, spirit and life which is unbeatable.

The Grand Old Tree !!!
This Silk Cotton Tree in Lalbagh, Bangalore is said to be more than 300 years old. The most prominent thing about it is its giant root system. This tree stands witness to over 3 centuries of Bangalore's history. Seen in picture are my ex colleagues Ashutosh & Pavan and ex manager who was visiting Bangalore from US Fernando. Shot on Dec 4 2004.

Jai Kisan
Farmers posing in Mandya, Bangalore Rural. Ahh what a lovely peaceful innocent life of the farmers, compared to the din of the city life. Ofcourse many may argue that the grass is always greener on the other side. Salute to the farmers of the country who give food and the soldiers who protect the nation. Jai Jawan Jai Kisan !!!
