New Year 2011

After six long years on Dec 31 2004, It was back to Bangalore - Brigade Road on the eve of year 2011. The last six new years have been Bangalore - Orissa - Coorg - San Francisco - Las Vegas/Los Angeles - Minneapolis/San Jose - Bangalore. This year looking forward fot the cricket world cup and on a personal front no expectations whatsoever - live on a day to day basis. Oh yes, looking forward for the coming Dec 31 2011. The Last Holy Bike Ride !!

6 AM Friday start on a cold foggy December morning - Helmets, sweaters, backpack, music and my Horse - Two ghastly accidents, one of which killing two on the spot - An excruciating but satisfying climb of the seven hills after the 7 hour backbreaking ride - Seven ascents on the bike in the 3 motorbiking rides to the lord in the last 6 years - An unconventional breather to sign of the year.
