Olympus Ultra Zoom

I got this Olympus SP-565UZ as a replacement for a broken Sony DSC P100 Cybershot from an acquaintance. Once you shoot with a DSLR its hard to like a digital camera. This model is at least not compact enough to fit inside a pant pocket which is what you expect of a Digital Camera. Nevertheless this is a perfect tool for a beginner to learn all the nuances of photography. It has mimicked almost all the basic features which you get in a DSLR and serves as a perfect launching pad for a beginner hobby photographer. Shot in June 2009.

Nutty Squirrels !

These Squirrels at the Bird Rock viewpoint of the 17 mile drive come surprisingly close to humans for the tidbits offered. Shot in May 2009.
